MORE ABOUT JAN
I’ve
worked in a variety of clerical, secretarial, and customer service
positions beginning in high school and continuing through college and
child-raising years. Through these
positions I gained experience in proofreading and meeting deadlines, among
other things. I’ve had other
experiences through the years (besides those mentioned above), such as
teaching Norwegian classes and owning a consignment store. I started studying book indexing in 2002
and have been learning more about indexing techniques since then between
part-time or temporary ‘day’ jobs and other projects. I am now ready to pursue indexing on a
full-time basis.
